Whilst out in newton abbot today i popped into Carphone Warehouse and someone there got a bit ahead of themselves. On display was a backing card for the BlackBerry Storm 2 (attached)

That's really interesting news and proof with a pic to is fantastic. I was led to believe by an unnammed MOD on here last week that theres a good chance that they wouldn't be having anything to do with the Storm 2 after all the issues that they have had with the 1st gen Storm. Obviously this pic tells a diffrent story and one that I'm kinda happy about my problem now is do I upgrade to the Storm 2 or hold out for the iphone ????? hhhhmmmmmm Storm 2 ????? iPhone ?????? -------------------- Up Your Viva !!!

I did say on here i knew about 3 months back when the launch was but no one would listen

I think it is pretty clear from past events that the level of communication within the infrastructure of Vodafone is limited to use a gross understatement.

I really don't see how the MODs can deny that VF are getting the Storm 2 any more.

I've only been on this forum for a short time, but feel sorry for BB Storm users who have obviously been suffering for soo long. It's certainly helped me make up my mind about going for Storm v2. . . . I'll have an iPhone!

well, what i find funny (as in odd) is the way the sms icon, showing threaded sms, is different to the version on the S1, the text bubble is in a different place, interesting!! anyways loving the new simulator for the S1, running 5.0.0.252, now i just need that on me phone too

Downloading what I think is 5.0.0.252 right nigh, but this one appears to be called a simulator:
Downloading BlackBerry® Device Simulators v5.0.0.252 (9500) Beta What does the term "simulator" mean in regards to this? Does it load up in the normal way? Can I just install it over .238? Thanks.

Before either of you try... no you can't use the Java files of the simulator... you will just end up with a 561 reload software error.
 On the upside .288 is out to service providers for testing!

This will be out by the end of the month! It even says ask for a demo, only time until they are in stock. Can a MOD come on and say yes or no, we deserve that dont we?
