NOTE 7 - Vodafone must give clear position

As a note fan since the original NOTE 1 the current situation is pretty disappointing. I think my Note 7 is great however IF there is another recall or the phone is pulled completely then Vodafone MUST provide better communication and process than before.

 

We must be told clearly what the options are, either all staff need to be aligned with the message or refer all questions to a Note 7 team.

 

If the Note 7 is pulled there must also be clear statements about alternative handsets and costs incurred e.g. accessories bought 

 

Vodafone obviously need time to understand what Samsung are going to do but Vodafone MUST take a lead in communication and learn from the past

i called about an hour ago and was told they had received an email from Samsung saying they could no longer process any requests and to wait.

 

everytime i get a different answer.never known customer service like it.

I just called in and was told a special team is dealing with it I would be called by the end of the week

@Viki_R, if there is  a special team that would be a good start, however can you confirm this and would it nt be a good idea to post this information so everyone knows

I can confirm that we do have a specialist team that are calling out to customers regarding this issue, yes.

They're in the process of calling customers, some customers may have a longer wait than others due to the amount of customers we have but, the team will get around to everyone as soon as possible.

 

You can call if you would prefer or especially if you have any concerns and would rather not wait.

@viki_r the title of this thread was that Vodafone needed to get a clear position on the Note 7, we all appreciate your comments but if you look on another thread the following is beign said

 

"Vodafone shower of crooks again. Just spoken to them now (ELR team)and they are no longer accepting returns or exchanges on the note 7. Gave me some bull about waiting Samsung's response"

 

...so it appears your dedicated team is not acceptng returns.

Royal mail have banned the transportation of note 7s. Can you advise us on how we will send our devices back as the current procedure is to use the post office
