Is there a problem with the chat or rich communications service that is supported on Android phones with the vodafone software when messaging as mine and my girlfriends are always failing lately. I've already turned the phone on and off as well as undertaking a factory reset which hasn't solved the issue.

Hi,

 

I am using call+ and when I create a group chat with a name (xyz) and add few of my friend on to the group, later when I edit the name of the group I can see the changes but my friends cann't see the new name for the group.

 

please advice if I have to do some settings to enable it.

@ravi2025 - That’s an odd one!

Please ask them to try following, to see if this helps update everything at their end:

  • Restart their phone
  • Wait 24-48 hours after you’ve changed the name
  • Check they’re on the latest version
