Vodafone - Does this mean we can exchange for another model of phone, and what would this mean for contracts that have been started specifically for this device.

I think it's about time.

I've read the information in your link.

Do you know the link to the official Samsung statement?

I'm sure if this is 100% ligit then Vodafone should follow soon with a statement of their own to put procedures in place.

It is all over the internet.. It is only in America though where things are actually moving to get refunds or replacements

Ok.

It's just that it would be better if we can see Samsung themselves saying this. Not Internet chatter.

Customer services have offered the following:

1. Keep the handset although not to use it until further instruction from samsung. (Although given its been discontinued I dont think this is wise!)

2. Replace the handset with the recommeded S7 Edge or another handset

3. Cancel and return the handset

Will call back shortly after have investigated options

I got mine swapped for a S7 Edge

Nice to see Vodafone continue their abysmal customer service record. I just called to send my Note 7 back and was asked if I wanted another one. No idea as usual.

Still at least I wasn't told my head would be blown off.
