Vodafone Smart Speed 6 phone won't boot up

Hello friends,

I recently just bought a vodafone smart speed 6 and have just got out of the box. Put it on charging and I can see a white light on the top right of the phone.

THe issue is the phone is in the same state for the last two hours. Long pressing on the power button is not booting up the phone at all.

How long do I need to charge these phones for? I am charging it through the usb port on my laptop.

Please provide any pointers

Hi

Charging via a computer does take longer.

Can you hook it up to a wall charger.

If you get stuck take it and all the accessories to a Vodafone store where they will try to help.

If you bought it from the Vodafone store they'll replace it for you if owned for less than 30 days. If over they'll want to send it off for repair.

If bought online customer service will send you a returns bag again if under 30 days or if over ask the Vodafone store to send it again to their repair centre.

Just thinking.

Perhaps try Method 2 in Vodafone-smart-speed-6-hard-reset.

Just to add: batteries are normally shipped in a charged state.   It's normally advisable to connect the charger when you first start the device as you don't know whether the charge is full or part and the initial setup process can be power-intensive.
