Was the Samsung s7 edge supplied directly by Vodafone or via an independent such as Carphone Warehouse ?

Hi @janetsmth
After installing the update, it is recommended to do a factory reset, this clears out any bugs from the previous software.
You will need to set up your WiFi calling for the updated software. There is further information below.
If you have any problems, please use live chat for account access, they will help.

will my phone revert to original android software if i do a factory reset? also will i have to download all the extras i have put on ? skype email tethering norton etc?

Hi
No.
A factory reset takes the phone to the last firmware installed not a previous one.
That entails more in-depth actions which can have ramifications.
If you do a Factory reset be sure to create a Back up beforehand as this process wipes your phone if your info.

Some others have had similar issues.
Please check in your online my Vodafone to see if calling WiFi is turned on.
Also in the phone itself.
Open the phone app
Click on the three dots in top right corner
Select 'settings'
Scroll dow and select 'more settings'
Here you should find a 'wifi calling' on-off switch

the wifi option has disappeared from settings so unable to switch on!
I have done live chat who said they had put it right, useless no change. i have also texted calling (which has worked in the past) but no joy this time.
