4S has no signal after bar released.

Last week my iPhone was stolen while on holiday - I reported it and had a bar put on it to prevent anyone using it. Today my phone was returned to me after the police found it, so I phoned Vodafone and had the bar taken off  about 5 hours ago and since then I've had 3G signal but no normal reception =/ The signal in my house isn't great but usually when I move around I get SOMETHING at least.. but not now! Any idea why or how I can get it sorted?

Any help would be awesome. Cheers!

Re: 4S has no signal after bar released.

So you can access 3G? You can gt on the Internet etc, but you cannot make or receive calls?

If that's the case I would presume Vodafone have activated data but not normal services. It may well be normal for the first day or so but I would just call Vodafone and check (after obviously trying the basic resetting and turning on off etc)

Hi JessicaFerris

Great news to see that your phone was able to be returned to you :smileyhappy:

It seems a little odd that you receive a 3G signal for data but no voice or text capability, this would normally be the other way around. In theory it can take up to 24 hours for a bar to completely lift, however it's normally much quicker.

Are you still experiencing the same difficulty now or has full service been resumed?

Thanks

Simon
