BT Openzone and account number

Hi, i received my new ipad yesterday and I've been trying to connect to BT Openzone in vain. I've downloaded the Vodafone App but when I Try to install the settings it says "the UUID for the profile "Vodafone UK Wi-Fi" is not unique. I've registered and hopefully done everything I'm supposed to do... Me thinks! I've read a few posts here where people have or have had the same issues but could not find a resolution. ...when I do get a BT Openzone wifi connection, I click on it and that opens BT Openzone window, when I click on Vodafone icon I'm told that I don't have a subscription or a similar message. Also, how can I get my account number before I receive my first bill? Thanks

When trying to connect I get the following message -

Your plan with Vodafone does not include access to this Wi-Fi hotspot.

Despite my Vodafone app saying my plan does include BT Openzone :smileysad:

Your Vodafone subscription allows you to connect to BT Openzone Premium hotspots and these are not the BT Openzone hotspots for which you need a BT subsciption.

 

Generally the Premium hotspots are those fond in public places, cafes, restaurant etc

I'm afraid that doesn't sort out my issue as I still can't access BT Openzone.
I read somewhere that if I see the Vodafone logo then it means I'm connecting to the right hotspot. I'm still getting my plan doesn't include BT Openzone access although my contract says I do.

I guess no one has a solution to this then?! lol@vodafone, I mean WTF??!! Don't bother, I'm still within my 7 days cooling off period!! FFS!

I do not see the point in this. It's obviously an ongoing issue that is affecting a lot of people and should have had a solution by now. Let's not complicate things and give me a solution now, my cooling off period expires Sunday and I need to have a solution by then else I'm outta here...
