Bt Openzone-Iphone 3gs-Cant access

Hi,

 I have got BtOpenzone on my tariff and have been trying to get connected for a very long time but I haven't managed to get it sorted.

I have had the phone for two years contract and its already been a year now and the vodafone technicians haven't solved the problem yet.

 

1) Called the technicians several times, spoke them for hours

2) have registered my account for it

3) I use my vodafone MY Account logins

4) Can connect without problem with other normal WiFi

 

Can anyone help me please. Thanks

Thanks for your post regarding being unable to access BT OpenZone hotspots.

 

This one, I feel, is going to need some account level intervention.

i have the same problem with my Iphone and Ipad can not access bt openzone and i have made many calls about it but still can not access it.

Hi, to use BT openzone with vodafone, first contact vodafone and check that the BT openzone service is def on your account. If it is, you then need to register for an online account with them. You then need to go to www.vodafone.co.uk/wifi where you need to sign in to activate wifi. Then when you in an openzone area, you should get a vodafone symbol on your device to click, and then enter your vodafone account details. That should be it. Good luck. :smileyhappy:

Does anyone having problems connecting to BT Openzone have more than one phone on the same account? 

 

I did and that was causing the problem. The first phone listed on the account is my wifes and when BT Openzone was enabled, it was put on her phone - rather than my iPhone. 

 

Originally when we spoke to CS, they said we must be entering password incorreclty. We then spoke to someone, who knew about the phone 'order' issue on accounts with multiple phones and it was sorted by him.
