Communication is essential but sadly lacking

I''ve just been told by your call centre that VF don't have stock of the iphone 4s until tomorrow. This is contrary to two other accounts from friends who have been told that you do and shipping will take place today for delivery tomorrow! What is corrrect? I have also been told that I may (or may not) get a text tomorrow if the phone is to be delivered tomorrow. If I don't get a text message it will be Monday. In the meantime I waste two day's leave waiting for the phone to be delivered. I preordered the phone at 8.00am last Friday but I'm not convinced you'll deliver tomorrow! My brother was told that his delivery would be out to him today - he checked and it wasn't. Do you see why it's important to provide information Vodafone??? People's lives are affected by your poor planning and logistics! Please sort out!!

Re: Communication is essential but sadly lacking

I believe they have holding centres for the phones throughout the country.

So technically they don't have stock at VF.

However, this doesn't help us much. Smiley Mad

Re: Communication is essential but sadly lacking

This is the "saddest" post I have ever read!!! Wow!!! Two days leave!

Why not just wait for that little piece of carboard saying something along the lines of "you were out there is a package for you to collect from your local sorting office".

No, no, no, bad idea. It's all Vodafones fault!

Loser!

yeah but you are the one acting like a complete and utter ###### posting rubbish to someone who is clearly worried about his expensive order that he has been promised

All day is a bit of an exaggeration! It's a bit of light relief while at work. Not many people have been advised when their phone is coming, myself included. Just wait and see!
