Coverage Issue - Fleet, Hampshire

It seems at some point over the weekend coverage in Fleet, Hampshire has just fallen off a cliff. I get limited service or none. And if i am lucky to get an internet connection it's EDGE which promptly crashes after 2 seconds.

I can't post on the faults board so can a moderator let me know how to log a fault with vodpafone please.

Post code is GU51 2QP.

Coverage Issue - Fleet, Hampshire

Hi sympatex

Welcome to the eForum :D it is always good to see new faces on here.

Sorry to hear that have had signal issues over the last few days.

I have checked the local cell site with the post code you have given us, and it is working like normal.

Do you know if this is happening to anyone else who is on Vodafone.

A good thing to try is to put your SIM in another phone, to make sure you haven't got a fault in the handset.

Also a SIM swap is recommended, if nothing has changed with the above suggestions.

Please let us know how you get on with this :D

Re: Coverage Issue - Fleet, Hampshire

Hi As of 1810hrs on the 15/03/12 I lost 3G on my iPad. I have had it solidly for about a month and suddenly it has now gone I have driven into Fleet town centre and still no 3G I drove towards Aldershot and as soon as I got near 3G kicked in. So something is not right believe me. Pottsy79

Re: Drop in signal GU52

Also in GU52, and also seeing a significant drop in signal. I need to take phone to an upstairs window to get any coverage at all. :smileysad:

I think that the problem may be this one reported in the faults section of the forum.

Re: Drop in signal GU52

I have tried everything spoke to Vodafone earlier and have been told there is some faults in the area and the engineers have been notified. Just get the feeling nothing will change though.

Re: Coverage Issue - Fleet, Hampshire

Been with vodafone for years and years with no signal problems. Last 2 or 3 days signal has been off and on, a large amount of the time Emergency calls only and no signal. Fleet GU51. My son is on Vodafone too and he is having the same problem.

Re: Drop in signal GU52

I'm in GU51 (other side of Fleet) and haven't had any signal for 4 days. Totally unacceptable!!

Apparently they are 'aware'. If they were aware how is it taking over four days to fix. They just need to look at the amount of views on the GU51 fault post compared to the others to notice how big a problem this is

Re: Drop in signal GU52

If you contact vodafone they will knock the money off your bill for the days of lost service. as for the transmitter supposedly they are trying to fix it. How frustrating

[ Edited ]

Took 5 days to fix last time, lets see if it's any faster this time. Last time there was some problem getting access to the site which caused delays.
