Why don't you use the 'soundbooth' app, just place it at the speaker and it will tell you the song that's playing.

You can find it on the app store.

I believe the song you are reffering to is "Somebody That I Used To Know" by "Gotye". I heard it when I was put on hold earlier and loved it, I had to find out what it was.

Some of the lyrics seem quite fitting for a mobile phone company too, such as "you didn't have to cut me off" and "change your number"

Anyone know what the new song is that's now playing?? (not the Ben Howard one). Can't find any reference to it anywhere. Vodafone customer service say "sorry we don't know"!!!! Vodafone Twitter say "I'm afraid not", Shazam can't tag it and when I Google the lyrics guess what......no match!!! Someone must know what the god damn song is???
