Re: Early Upgrade

Can anyone help me??? I have an iphone 3g. It says the earliest I can upgrade is mid february 2012.  I took out a 24 month contract in May 2010, and Ive had enough of this phone. Its laggy, apple no longer supports it with updates, it keeps switching itself off, rebooting took 30 minutes earlier on this evening. Its got to the point where Im using my sim in one of my old hansets, and I begrudge paying 30 a month for a handset Im not using. Im ready to throw it out of the window. Is there anything that can be done to help me?? :'( Im desperate for a different handset.

Re: Early Upgrade

Hi ErikaB,

Thanks for your post. I’m disappointed to read about your experiences with your iPhone.

An early upgrade means that the new agreement starts the day after your current one finishes, but we’d like to see if we can help.

I’ve sent an email to your registered email address. If you can reply to this, we’ll be in touch with the options available.

All the best.

Ian

Re: Early Upgrade

If you got your Iphone 3G in May 2010 on a 24 month contract, you wouldnt be able to upgrade until November 2011 on an 190 day early upgrade, how did you upgrade now? Did you pay off the remaining months? What phone did you get?

Re: Early Upgrade

Hi,

I am not due for an early upgrade until the 2nd of August however my phone is acting up - turning off randomly and dropping out of signal (when other people on vodafone have full signal) so am wondering what my options are.

I've been with vodafone for around 7 years, ever since I had my first phone - a motorola timeport!

Also I have never heard of this 'early upgrade' before and wondering what sort of money I would have to pay if I wanted to upgrade on the 2nd of August or what sort of contract i'd have to sign my soul down for!

Can anyone give me any insight?

Thank you,

Cameron.

Hi

I'm the same I'm afraid - my husbands Iphone is now lagging, battery hardly lasts any time at all and keeps turning itself off. We're about a month and a half before we can do anything online - is there anyway this can be resolved please?

He's using a beaten up old nokia at the moment which is far from convenient

Any asisstance would be much appreciated!

Many Thanks

Adele

PS - His phone is on one of the two contracts I have......

Re: Early Upgrade

Paul

Just seen this thread about early upgrades and have the same queury. I've got a iphone 3g @ £45 per month and can't upgrade until 28th of September......not going to make up some silly story about being fed up with phone etc to try to blag one but am going on holiday in 4 weeks time and would just love to have a decent camera on my phone to take some nice holiday pics so wanted to check the chances of a iphone maybe a few months early than my upgrade date?

Happy to provide with more information of you need it

Thanks

Michael
