Re: Early Upgrade

I got a phonecall from Vodafone yesterday telling me that they could upgrade me to the iPhone 4s with no early upgrade fee.  Because of a bad reception we had to end the call early.  Is there any chance somebody could get back to me about this?

Thanks

Gareth

Re: Early Upgrade

Hi,

I am wanting to upgrade from my apple 3gs to a samsung galaxy s2 i am about a week and a half away from my upgrade date and have heard that you can get much better retention deals on the fourms.

I have been having a lot of trouble with vodafone signal either at home at work or even in supermarkets etc. I have found that people on O2 get much better signal wherever they are although this may be down to my handset.

Could you message me with any deals on samsung galaxy s2. Also I have been a customer for quite a while so would appreciate the best deal you got!

Thanks

my 3gs is on its last legs, reception is forever dropping, and always saying sim not inserted... had the sim replaced a few weeks ago and its still a bit iffy

Re: Early Upgrade

Hi ajcrawfs and David-g

Thanks for your posts about your upgrades, we can certainly look into it for you both to see if we can get you your phones earlier.

I’ve sent you both an email, if you could reply back with the details needed then one of our team can get back to you. We're only a small team and very popular at the moment but we will be with you as soon as we can. :smileyhappy:

Let me take this opportunity to show you how Vodafone like to say thank you; take a look at VIP.

Cheers

Amanda

Re: Early Upgrade

Hi There

I called to upgrade last Monday (3rd October) only to be told over the phone via recorded message that I could not upgrade over the phone until the follow Thursday (Today) so I waiting and called back today only to be told the same thing...next Thursday!! So now I am a little confused. After being told this last week I called to speak to someone in customer services who told me that 'next Thursday' (TODAY) I could upgrade to the iPhone 4s....so what do I do now??

I know your a small team but I would really appreciate your help as I would like to upgrade my phone to the iPhone 4s ASAP as my current phone (HTC Desire) has not worked correctly for sometime.

I will await your anticipated reply. :smileyhappy:

Hi puremonkey,

Definitely confusing...

The best way to check the exact upgrade date available to you is to check online - if you're not yet eligible for an early upgrade it will tell you when. Just log into our online upgrade tool with your registered online billing details.

Re: Early Upgrade

I am eligible for an early upgrade online but that involves a £55 upgrade fee hence why I wanted to do it over the phone as the guy I spoke to in Customer Services said that doing it over the phone I wouldn't be charge this upgrade fee. So upon trying to do it over the phone I keep getting a recorded message saying next Thursday.

Can you look further into this for me please?

Re: Early Upgrade

Hi - i currently have an iphone 4 16gb but due to lack of space.. was looking to upgrade to something a bit bigger... Not to bothered about paying over the odds for a souped up Iphone 4 so was wondering if Vodafone would sort me out with a white iphone 4 32g on a 12 month contract (with the remainder of my current contract tacked on to the end?)

Can one of the mods let me know if this is possible?

Re: Early Upgrade

Hi there,

I am in the exact same position. I have a Blackberry Bold 9700 but recently dropped it in the bath, so I logged onto the Vodafone website and saw that I can have an early upgrade from Tuesday 25th October. I want to upgrade to the iPhone 4 in White. I went into Vodafone yesterday to ask how much it is, and she said she can't find out till Tuesday! But I really need to get a rough idea because I'm going away on Thursday night, so I need this phone quickly!

So if any of you could please tell me how much it will cost me roughly?

I'm currently paying £35 a month, 18 month contract, including the Blackberry service. I want 8gb iPhone 4 for 24 month contract.

Please help me asap!

Re: Early Upgrade

Hi, I have 2 phone contracts with Vodaphone, one for me and one for my wife. My wife has an iPhone 3GS, but it is getting close to being on its last legs. She can upgrade officially next August, but I was wondering if anything can be done to let her upgrade early? I appreciate that she would be tied into a really long contract etc, but neither of us mind. Could one of the Vodaphone mods please get in touch with me to discuss if we have any options etc. Many thanks.
