How to change iPad 2 order

For the mods - I placed an order on Saturday (over the phone) for an iPad 2 16gb as an existing customer, benefiting from the offer of a free device and £32 a month.

In my haste to place the order, I should have asked for the iPad 2 32gb at £50 plus £32 per month.

Is it possible to amend my order at this stage. I called 08080408408 and they advised to contact the online sales team as they can access the pre-order system and can change the order.

Can a mod help here?

I'd also be interested in doing this if at all possible, like yourself I was rather hasty
couldn't believe the free iPad 2 deal! But in hindsight £50 is a small price to pay.

Excellent service, managed to change the order to a 32gb and have been advised delivery tomorrow.

 

Cannot fault Vodafone service!

Interesting that you are getting your delivery tomorrow after changing the order.  I oprdered my Ipad on the same deal as you for the 32GB version on 28th March and have still been told 2-3 weeks delivery on it and no one will look into this for me.  Maybe its worth attmepting to Upgrade to the 64GB cusomter to get a priority.  will be good to know if you get yours tomorrow

I believe I spoke directly with the warehouse and she confirmed they were in stock for the 32gb.

 

I'd better no count my chickens......

Wow that's some good advice, I will probably use the site. Can you please just tell me what's the price for the 64Gb one? I had to pay £50 for the 32Gb, but I'd like to know how much more would it cost me for the 64 Gigs as I am quite tempted....

I ordered mine on the 31st March and apparently my order is still being processed and have literally just been told via email that there are no 64GB stock at the moment...... I personally have had no updates from Vodafone on the status and have had to call/email to find out whats going on. Then I get told different things from different departments. 

 

Seems to me like its a very messed up process at the moment and not on a 1st come 1st serve basis. 

 

Can anyone at Vodafone look into this for me?

Update: just spoke to the Online fulfilment team who advised my 32gb has been dispatched for delivery tomorrow.

Is there some kind of shortage for white iPads only? I called the 08ish number, gave my details, and I was told that they have to cancel my order if I wanted to go for the black which is available, or for the 64Gb in white, which could back date me up to 6 weeks!!! So what's the case after all???

My 32gb turned up this morning. Many thanks to Vodafone but I can't understand how I appeared to have jumped the queue. Surely those who ordered days before me should have had there's by now.

You must be paying them more than £500-700 that I pay per month, or you lured them with sweets and treats! Otherwise I cannot explain why they said what they said to me (read my previous post). Oh, not to mention that I placed my order on the 30th of March!!! Voda can be as nice as it can be a pain sometimes, but I don't understand their criteria...

You ordered on Saturday and got it today. I ordered mine on Thursday, noone confirmed anything, and when I called them they claimed a shortage, and that they had to cancel and place my order again, and then wait for up to 6 weeks based on current waiting times!!!!! All that hassle, instead of just taking off me another £49... That's hideous, isn't it?! Seems like some people are there to help, and some to make our life worse!

The only thing I can think of to explain how I got mine early was that I was transferred to the warehouse dept. to amend my order.  The lady I spoke to checked the stock level there and then and must have allocated an iPad to me rather than wait for the automated preorder system to allocate an order (which I assume would have taken some time).
