Hey guys,

My dad's iphone 3gs has been playing up recently and has been losing its signal in our house. Before the signal was perfect. I myself have an iphone 4 and I am also on vodafone but my signal is perfect.

To get signal my dad had to go outside so I thought ill download the latest update of the iphone for him. So when that had finished we had reception (one bar) but it id not say vodafone Uk on the top left anymore. There was just bars left. Now anytime he wants to call its says call failed straight away.

I REALLY NEED HELP CAUSE MY DAD USES HIS PHONE 24/7 AND HAS IMPORTANT CALLS TO ANSWER.

Ive tried re-setting network settings as well. Pleaseeeeeeee guys i really need some help. I really appreciate it if you do. Cheers.

As your dad was having problems before the update is he able to borrow another VF sim to try in his phone to see if narrows down the problem to a sim / signal or handset issue?
