I-Phone 3gs

Hi All

I have recently purchased a 2nd hand i-phone 3 which was on the VF network. I am not a VF customer but if i buy a normal VF  PAYG sim will this work in the i-phone?

Thanks

Yes :smileyvery-happy:

Then connect it to iTunes where it will download the latest carrier settings for PAYG

Hi Lyndsay85,

kids is spot on. But don't forget you can get a free PAYG SIM from this link :smileywink:

So you see, there's no need to pay!!!

Cheers,

Lee

Re: I-Phone 3gs

Thanks for the quick reply.

I've just acquired a Vodafone PAYG sim card from my brother-in-law, and all is well.

Regards,

Dear Vodafone. I own a 3GS but a few years ago you could receive faxes to your phone. Could you please advise how I might be able to receive faxes to either my phone or ipad2 many thanks

The only post of yours showing is the query about receiving a fax, there have not been any replies to that yet. On any email you receive there should be a link which you can either click on or copy & paste into your browser.

You need a third-party app such as http://faxmicro.com/ they will send any faxes sent to your iPhone as a PDF file.

As far as I know you can still send faxes from your phone, I have not tried it recently but if you prefix the fax number with 9741 that should still work unless Vodafone have now discontinued that service.
