From reading the stories on here, I am now thinking perhaps I might end up being one of the lucky ones, I ordered my Ipad2 two weeks ago and have had regular email contact from Vodafone, but unfortunately, every one of them claims to be an update to my order but actually is nothing more than what seems like a brush off stating how 'we're trying hard etc to get the order sent'
Never mind all the Tosh, just tell me for sure 100%, am I to expect to receive my Ipad 2 within the next 2 weeks, making it within the 2-4 week bracket, or am I to sit disappointedly waiting day after day for 5 or maybe 6 weeks?
Also, please confirm that the monthly line rental of £32, will not leave my account at all until the month after I receive the Ipad2??
I have 2 phones on contract , both of which cost £45 per month, add this to the £32 a month I will be paying for the Ipad2 and I'd say I am a decent customer, but if this waiting period goes past 4 weeks, then I may well end up being a very good customer for T-Mobile or 3 next time

He,s the managing director uk. I did this after waiting three weeks. I got a reply from the directors office, dave Harrison.
You might get more sense out of them than customer services. If everyone did this, they might get their finger out and sort out the supply trouble. I emailed him again last Thursday and it was despatched the following day after alot of stock came in.
I got mine today, after four weeks. It's well worth waiting for.

I’m sorry it’s been a bit of a wait to get your new iPad2, but we are doing our best to fulfil orders as soon as we can. I do not have any specific delivery details concerning the iPad 2, and I am unable to check it’s order status as the online pre order system is separate to the standard order system I have access too. You may be able to get an update by contacting the V Store team on 08700 700 191 (option 3, option 1) or 191 on a Vodafone handset, alternatively email them on firstname.lastname@example.org.
As for the account charges, these will not start until the device has been delivered and SIM activated, so there are no charges until you receive your equipment.
