Re: IPad

Hi But please note that 'Tethering' on the Ipad doesn't work. I was in similar situation, except I need tethering to work and inspire of validating with Vodafone,Before purchase, once signed up found it doesnt work and the 'front line' staff know vey little about it. So please be sure you know what functionality you need before you sign up. Ian

Re: IPad

I know this sounds a little trite, but shouldnt you always know what you expect from a piece of technology before you buy it and make sure the equipment you are considering meets your needs?

Re: IPad

Jeff, My point is that I DID try to do that and try and ensure it would meet my needs but the iPad doesn't meet with the published specifications and Vodafobe even told me that it would work and I relied on that from them before buying. So not sure what point you are trying to make here. If both apple and Vodafone tell me it will work, before I purchased and then after purchase find out that it doesn't and that some people seem to now know this also..... My point is that Vodafone have let me down by telling me things would work when asked a direct question and were only interested in the sale etc... The lack of 'tethering' functionality means that they really should state this clearly on support and sales channels. I feel mislead.

Re: IPad

HiGreenwich,

Can you give me a little more information as to the problems you are having with tethering? The iPad can be tethered to another device but it cannot be a device to which other devices are tethered.

Thanks

Wayne
