Iphone exchange

Hey

So i got a new iphone under insurance (water damage) on the 12th of march, a few days later i noticed it was damaged (dead pixels and dropping calls) so i made an appointment with an apple genius to have a look over it.

they couldn’t do anything as its an cover me insurance claim so they said to go back to Vodafone, but when he looked up the IMEI i found out i actually have an unlocked 02 iphone!? from 2010 as well.

So i went into the local shop said what’s happened they put me onto the phone to the customer service team where i was passed around 5 different departments! Because no one knew what to do. insurance team were saying its a Vodafone problem, Vodafone saying its an insurance problem, shop didn’t know what to do as they have just supplied me with the phone Vodafone sent back to them, In the end they said they would send a exchange to the store for me to pick up.

Waited a week and heard nothing from Vodafone. so called up to see where my exchange phone was and what a surprise they had no idea what i was on about! no notes on the system at all. had to sit through them looking through it all again, calling the warehouse, giving my IMEI again, eventually to be told that because its past 14 days of my phone being replaced there going to have to put it through manually! so i was told a new phone will be sent out and be here by the very latest Tuesday.

Didn’t turn up. called Vodafone to find out where my phone is, the lady on the phone said that she couldn’t get hold of the department as they were closed, so asked me to call back. while checking my details i found out there sending it to the wrong address!

Am i allowed a replacement phone or you just going to keep annoying me until i leave when my contract is up in less than a month?

Re: Iphone exchange

Hi craigteeder,

I'm unsure what could have lead to the incorrect address as we'd only generally be able to deliver to the address registered on your account or to a store for collection for security purposes.

So we can take a look at what exactly is happening and get this resolved, I'm pop you a PM. Just follow the directions in there for me so we can identify and access your account.

You can find your PM inbox here. If you can't access this link, please ensure that the box next to "Turn on private messages" is ticked on this page, and let us know if you need any further assistance.
