My iphone just went off after I received a call. I have only had it since the summer and I am not insured would vodafone fix it or am I covered under some sort of warranty??? No the battery hasnt run out as its on the charger now but still isnt coming on.

It might be worth plugging into iTunes to see if its recognised by your PC / MAC...

Hold the Home (the circle button at bottom of phone) and power button (the one on top) together for as long as you can and you should hopefully force the phone to reboot!!

Try more than once

If rebooting the phone fails to solve the problem and you have only had it a few months (assuming it was then new) it will still be under warranty. If you have an Apple store near to you they will either repair the phone for you or give you a replacement, otherwise you can have it replaced/repaired under the Vodafone warranty which covers you for the first 12 months. The Apple store is your quickest route.

Sterling advice given here. You may also want to try holding Home, and the power/lock key till the Apple symbol shows then release the lock/power key. That should put the handset into DFU or recovery mode, then connect it to iTunes.

Great advice, thank you. Just had a manic about it went off for no reason. Any idea why this happens? My phone is less than 2 months old.
