I have just come off the phone to vodafone customer support as i have lost all signal on my iPhone 3gs, they asked me to turn off 3g and when that didn't work had the cheek to say that the area i live in does not have a good signal and that i will need to buy a sure signal for £50!!
I have lived in the same area for 3 years and have always had good signal with vodafone, when i told the person on the phone this she then said that a cell tower is down near me and thats what is causing the problem.
I also have a work mobile on vodafone and with both phones next to eachother the work phone is still working fine so some how doubt it is a cell tower problem.
I have had a similar problem in the past and phoned up and got this sorted pretty quickly.
Since when has vodafones customer service become so bad and also changed into a sales department trying to sell me things that i do not need???
