My 3GS iphone just drops the signal in the house frequently

Hi,
I usually have at least 3 bars of signal in my house wherever I happen to be. Over the last few weeks it's started to just drop the signal. I get the 'no service' message where my bars should be. This can last for up to 10 mins or longer if I don't turn my phone off, leave for a few minutes and then turn back on again.
3G isn't available inside my home but I get a very good 2G signal when it's behaving itself. Can anyone enlighten me as to why this is happening.
I have the phone connected to my home wifi and have turned off the 'Enable 3G' to see if that makes any difference but it doesn't it's still the same.
As far as I know there isn't a problem with the vodafone masts in this area, maybe a moderator could let me know if there is?
Thanks for any help with this, it's very frustrating and annoying to say the least.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for getting back to me so soon.![]()
There are a couple of things I need to access the Vodafone site for and it's down at the moment so will try again tomorrow and get back to you on results.
Thanks again.
