Although 4g itself hasn't fully rolled out in the uk, you will get 3G + until the uk catches up with the yanks

The current iPad LTE 4G won't work in the the future Uk versions 4G as its been restricted in 700/2100 Frequency.

Unless of course you're on Orange which (pending a complaint from Vodafone) may get to launch 4G on their 1800Mhz band which would work with the iPad's 4G I believe.

You don’t need to worry as you can change the order for the iPad however, you will need to accept the delivery of the iPad then speak with our returns team who will be able to arrange the exchange for you.
