Hi

Can you provide a little more information such as ;

Is this a new contract ? It can 24 hours sometimes to settle.Turn airplane mode On & Off to reset Network Connection.

Have you recently upgraded and needed a different sized Sim Card ? http://www.vodafone.co.uk/discover-vodafone/all-customer-benefits/sim-swap/

Have you Activated your Sim Card ? http://www.vodafone.co.uk/vodafone-uk/Error-Pages/wsa-error/index.htm

Have you recently migrated from another Network via a Pac Code ? Turn Airplane Mode On and Off. If no help speak to your original Network to ensure the process has been started correctly ,and speak to Vodaphone Customer services http://www.vodafone.co.uk/contact-us/

Where did you obtain the iPhone from ? Occasionally No Service means a phone has been Imei Blocked due to it being blocked by a network due to security reasons.

Tips :

On the iPhone hold down the Sleep/Wake Button and Home button together until the Apple Logo shows. Then On seeing this Apple Logo release both buttons ,and the iPhone will reset , which has been known to clear most glitches.

Reset the Network settings via -> Settings-General-Reset--Reset Network Settings.

Try ure Sim in another phone as elimination 2 rule out the phone or sim that may be at fault.
