Re: No ability to see queued packs & data use on iPad, all packs show expired, yet iPad works.

I'm seeing this issue.
I've contacted Customer Service and they've unregistered and re-registered my data packs, and my iPad is now connecting and working.
Is this a permanent fix for the problem or will it occur again?
I still see all my data packs marked as "Expired" when I view full account information on the iPad.

Re: No ability to see queued packs & data use on iPad, all packs show expired, yet iPad works.

Hi Guys,

@ rhobweb, It should have resolved the issue for good however, if you do notice it going again, please let us know. :smileywink:

@ kelvyn29, whilst I appreciate that you are frustrated we do work on a first come first serve basis on both posts and our email queue.

I can see that you email is in our queue to be worked by one of the team however, due to the workload and the reduced weekend cover it is taking a little longer than we would like to respond to our customers including the email call backs.

I would like to request that you stop posting about the same issue as we are aware of your email and by continually posting it is simply slowing down our response times meaning that it will take longer for us to get to your email and as such it will take longer for us to resolve your issue.

James

Re: No ability to see queued packs & data use on iPad, all packs show expired, yet iPad works.

My first set of bundles expired two days ago. I'm now seeing the same problem again, but cannot access the internet.
I contacted Vodafone technical support and they got me to reset my iPad network settings.
They told me that they had not made any changes to the network, i.e., they did not re-activate my bundles.
I can now access the internet, but my three data packs are still marked as "Expired" and my plan still says "Plan information is currently unavailable".
Is this going to happen to me every month?

Latest score:

Vodafone 1 ssimler 0:

I am bowing out of the ipad Micro SIM debaucle.

This is the latest priceless gem I recieved yesterday:-

Hi Steve

Thanks for getting back to us.

I'm sorry to see you're still unable to view this information online.

We'll need to raise a case with our IT Team to look into this further. So that we can do this, please can you get back to us with the following information:

  • Browser
  • Browser version
  • Operating System

They have know from the outset that I own an ipad2.

I'm not a techie, but though everyone knew that:-

Safari is the browser (and I have the latest)

and iOS 5.1.1 is the Operating System!!! Which auto updates as well

This is an ongoing issue that relates to Vodafone and Apple and should not be dumped back on the customer.

Vodafone is suppose to be the service provider!

Anyway I've had enough, and have cancelled my contract? (sic). And have moved to a different provider. I do not want to say too much about a rival but a clue is a number!

I'm sure the forum moderators will be glad to see the back of me. (If this does not get vetted as inapropriate)

Good luck to all in you pursuit to get satisfaction

Bye

Re: No ability to see queued packs & data use on iPad, all packs show expired, yet iPad works.

Hi rhobweb

Thanks for the update. This isn't something that should be happening every month so we'd like to ensure that this doesn't happen again. I've sent a private message with details of how to contact us directly.

You can find your PM inbox here. If you can't access this link, please ensure that the box next to "Turn on private messages" is ticked on this page, and let us know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks

Simon
