No network after unlocking

Finally after 3 months I finally got my iPhone unlocked but now after I plugged it to iTunes with a different sim and followed the instructions the mobile has no network!!
Any sim I put in that isn't Vodafone is coming up no network??
Can anyone advise me on what to do this was ment to be for my younger sister

Hi there

Did you get a message in iTunes telling the phone was unlocked - if so, this is no longer an unlocking issue.  Is the other networks SIM actually active?  What message are you getting when you use the other network's SIM card?

i connected mobile to itunes with the different sim card and let itunes do there work then When i disconnected it the mobile said no service, I took it into a phone shop who advised I got a replacement sim which i have and still when i put new sim in it has no service??

A message saying the iPhone has been unlocked should pop up on your computer screen.

Live help can check the status of the unlock code.
