Hi,

I'm currently abroad in Norway and something has happened to my phone (5s). I thought it had ran out of battery as the screen was black but then it would not turn on at all. So I plugged it in and still nothing. There's beern no previous issues like this with it before. It's very frustrating because I don't know what to do about it when I'm abroad. I really need it fixed, it's very important.

(I have in onlyhad the phone since September)
If I got my friend to take it back to the UK would she be able to take it in to a vodafone store in glasgow on my behalf?

Cheers

How old is the phone? If I were you I'd find an Apple store in Norway (assuming there is one) and take it there.

If there isn't one get it to an Apple store in the UK. Don't take it to Vodafone as Apple will be better and quicker at diagnosing and fixing the problem.

7 months old.

There are equivalents of Apple stores so I guess it couldn't hurt,
I cannot get back to the UK so would my friend be able to take it in for me?

An Apple Store yes. A Vodafone store no unless you authorise Vodafone to deal with them on your behalf.
