When changing from an iPhone to a new Vodafone, is it possible to transfer contacts etc from the Apple nano sim to the sim in the Vodafone Ultra Smart 6?

Hi,

Your Contacts are not on the SIM card when using an iPhone.

They are in the phones Contact App and iCloud backups, so when you take out the Nano sim from the iPhone and insert it into the Vodafone Ultra Smart 6 they won't be in it.

You cannot put your contacts from the iPhone onto the nano sim either.

Are we talking about a lot of contacts ?

Do you use Gmail?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

If there isn't a lot of contacts then you could manually input them or use your Gmail to put your Contacts into your new phone.

Hi bolo.

Following on from what bandofbrothers has been advising, you can also pop into any of our stores with the Vodafone RED Box and we'll transfer your contacts for you.

Our store finder is here: http://vdfn.co/store

Just put your postcode in and we'll let you know if your local store has one.

Have just bought the new Smart Ultra 6 from my local store 2 hours ago and  asked the sales person how the transfer could be made but didn't get a clear answer nor an offer to transfer the data for me.

Edit: What's the Vodafone Red Box?

RED Box a service that we have in some stores that transfers your contacts and data from one device to the other for you. Pop your postcode on the link I sent earlier and you'll be able to see if any stores nearby have it.

We've also got a Youtube video about RED Box here: http://vdfn.co/1IikiLL
