Sim swap problem

I completed an online sim swap this morning from my 4s to my new 5s.  Been waiting for 4 hours now and nothing has happenend.  Still no service showing.  Have tried calling vodafone, but having gone through all the options they give and my question not coming up - I get directed back to the website and asked to hang up.  Extremely disppointing customer service I have to say.  Is it normal to wait so long for a transfer of number and service.

In my experience a sim swap usually takes a few minutes up to 24 hours depending on how busy the network is.

One I did took 2 days.

Have you tried turning the phone off and on or airplane mode on and off,to reset the network connection.

And or Settings-General- Reset-Reset Network Settings.
