Transfer Calls

I have just signed up my company for Vodafone OneNet and have now found out that none of us can transfer calls from our Iphones to each other or to any internal deskphone. Is anyone looking at creating an App to allow this to be possible or putting pressure on apple to update the IoS?

As this is one of the main selling points of OneNet, should this not be made clear before people sign up?

Hi Guys

I am sorry to see that you have issue with transffering calls using an iPhone.

I have just spoke to the One Net team and I am sorry to say that it is not compatible with an iPhone. As we are unable to brand the handset which would enable us to put the settings into the phone, it now stops the phone from using One Net.

You are incorrect you can transfer a call from your iphone to another office phone or mobile by saving the full DDI number in your contact list you can transfer the call.

Even Vodafone should know this.

Re: Transfer Calls

Hello,

Could somebody explain how to transfer a live call to another number in your contacts as I have just been told by One Net CS that this is not possible.

I have found online that people are confusing call forwarding and call transferring.

Thanks

Re: Transfer Calls

Hi rusclark

Thank you for your post, we have been testing this in the office.

The device will allow you to conference call however at this time it will not allow you to transfer the call completely currently, as soon as we receive any updates regarding this we will post here.

Many Thanks

YOU CAN TRANSFER CALLS ON iPHONE!!

Long winded but - Create a contact called 'Transfer' and store the transfer code '4' as the number.

When you are on a call that you wish to transfer you first need to call your recipient and tell them you have a call for them.  Then go back into your contacts and call your 'transfer' contact.  This will hand the call over and disconnect your line.

Re: Transfer Calls

Sadly at present it's a poor service for iPhone users.

We are just in the process of cancelling our OneNet service as the only way to transfer calls from an iPhone is to use the keypad and type #132#(the number or short phone code)* and then it transfers the call without allowing you to speak to the person your transfering the call to first.

There is talk of an iPhone App that will allow more control etc. but it's been delayed, and I can't see it working any better under IOS6
