So 4 days ago (Monday) I decided to upgrade to the iPhone 5C.

Did it through logging onto my account and the upgrades page.

Its now Friday and nothing!! Everytime I go onto the tracking page

it is always at the 1st part saying my order has been recieved.

It says it takes between 3-4 days well thats almost 4 days over now.

My new price plan hasn't updated on my account so far and it said

it would after 24 hours. Been on live chat and they said the order was

definately ready to be sent out!

Whats going on? or am I just not patient enough!!

Hi

I'm wondering if the handset has dropped out of stock.

If this was me I would perhaps telephone Vodaphone Customer Services to clarify its status.

Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512gb Phantom Black.

Thats what I was thinking also.

The thing is I was in a vodafone shop on Monday to upgrade

but when the person in the shop went on my account the upgrade

page wasn't working and he said it was a known fault on certain accounts.(been like this for 5 months now)

When I got home and went online heho the upgrades page was working.

So I did all the right things upgrading but after 5 days nothing! The 1st

email say it take 2-4 days for delivery. Live chat said it takes 3-5 days!

If the person in the shop did it right in the 1st place I would have had my

new phone there and then but 5 days later I am still waiting.

I am begining to feel although I have a confirmation email saying they

recieved the order maybe they haven't as the past 5 months this website

has been totaly up the stuff not working here and there.

Vodafone seem to want your money but when there is a problem they

are just not interested in helping or sorting things out!

Totally appreciate the frustration your having with this which we both know should be a simple procedure.

I do tend to advise to people to only upgrade instore so that they walk out with the phone and do not drop into having the phone out of stock, have to wait in for delivery or the delivery fails. (Not in every bodies circumstances)

If this was me I'd give the Network a timeframe to meet or ask to collect the hardware from a store or ask to cancel the upgrade and start again in a store.

Yes I always think its best going to a store. But when the person in the

store said the upgrade page wasn't working on my account the only way

to upgrade was by calling 191. Well the upgrade page hadn't been working for 5 months with no fix I thought well if I want an upgrade the only choice I have was to dial 191. But I tried the upgrade option on my account 1 more time and hey presto it was working for some unknown reason!

It says on the confirmation email it would take 2-4 days for delivery. It's now 6 days and nothing. No emails or texts to update me what's going on. If the phone was out of stock at least let me know that and when it

will be in stock again. I find it hard to believe that the iPhone 5C could

be out of stock anyway!

Maybe 1 of the forum team would like to comment on this?

Looks like no one wants to help!

Went on live chat again today and after the person going quiet for

about 2 minutes came back and said due to a system update he

could not get access to my account to check whats going on with

the upgrade. I think this was just a fob off to get rid of me.

I don't have the time to keep coming on here and live chat to chase

my order up. 1 week now and I am paying for a phone I dont have

which is terrible servcie.

Anyone know how I can cancel this upgrade now?

Hi @Gordy144

I’m sorry to hear this is happening.

Speaking to Live help is the quickest way to sort this out or pop in to your local Vodafone store.

Cheers,

Laura
