Just updated the My Vodafone iPhone app. Followed the on-screen instructions to turn off Wi-Fi so the app can identify my and link to my account but it keeps saying that it can't identify me and to make sure I have a signal. I have a full-strength 3G signal and have been trying for nearly an hour, but still no luck.
Anyone else having the same problem?

Thanks guys. Yes, it finally worked for me after a couple of hours, although I've seen the same message again since - but it managed to connect (eventually) after clicking Try Again.
I think that this is a more descriptive message than the "there is a problem, please try later" (or something like that) that the old version of the app used to give.
Since both the old and new version seem to have the same problem I guess it's at Vodafone's end rather than the app itself.
Got to say that the new version is a big improvement with the Openzone Wi-Fi features

It worked once i switched WIFI off here over the WAP APN so i would make sure that you are not trying to connect via any WIFI connection, it did take a few minutes and a full close of the app to get it working though.
