Please send me the email too - I am getting the same message. I have gone from PAYG to pay monthly.
Why don't you just issue the account number when it is a problem for so many people - presumably you have a reason?

I need my account number and PIN emailed to me if that is possable please. I only joined VF the other day online and have nothing with my account number on it.

The quickest way for us to get your account number details if you're having trouble locating it is to use the Contact Us form. You can also text the word 'Account' followed by your full postcode in its correct format to 97886 to receive your details via text. For example, I've just text 'Account ST6 4SB' to 97886 and had my account number within 60 seconds.
Remember, those of you with My Account set up can find your account number by logging in and checking the 'View My Bills' Section. You'll find the account number at the top of the page.

This topic would make great marketing material - for o2!!! Every day more customers who haven't even been given their account number, finding a vodafone forum in google, asking in a 2 year old public topic for it and waiting for someone to stroll by and reply then send an email. Why can't we get our account number by texting to the detailed place? Where is the security risk in the sim/telephone number owner getting their account number in an automated, instant way in this technological era - rather than waiting days for a forum moderator to pick up a message!!! It is a total nonsense, played out by Vodafone for everyone to see.
