Wheres my iPad?!

Im very annoyed as I ordered my iPad at 8am yesterday! Was tolled by the sales guy it will be here between 8am and 1pm today and nothing. So i called customer services and have had very rude lady and extra unhelpful tell me it actually hasnt even being dispatched yet! And the dispatch center is close today....therefore it wont be sent out until monday and earliest i will get it is tuesday or wednesday! Im very unhappy as i asked the sales man if they were in stores yet and he said no! No stores have them yet!! I just spoke with my local store and they actually do have them! Im very disappointed.....now im thinking of cancelling and going to another network! I have 3 mobile contracts with voda and 2 dongles! Ive being renewing my contracts for so many years now and now i think this is coming to an end!

Does sound bad.

Have you considered going to a store and just picking one up today? (and just refuse delivery of the other one and will be cancelled?)

Strange it hasn't been dispatched as there is no reason for it not to have been unless they had a glitch I their systems. I know it is a pain but Vodafone (in my experience) as one of the best companies for handling complaints and offering gestures of goodwill etc (is the main reason I stay with them as everyone makes mistakes it is how they deal with resolving them that I appreciate the most)

No sadly cannot get to a store for the next 5 days....I was able to yesterday and was planning to but was toled otherwise which is why im very annoyed!

Can one of voda people contact me so I can know for sure if its coming monday or tuesday or wednesday or when??? Thank you!

I just spoke to vada customer sevice now im being told that i have being allocated a saturday delivery, they cannot change delivery and therefore i have to wait till next saturday to have my iPad 3 i bought and paid for at 8am on the friday! What a joke!! It wasnt even my fault it wasnt delivered this saturday....and they cant even cancel the order because its too late!

Why cant the voda people on here be bothered to help me?

Would it not be easier to place another order which would now be delivered on Tuesday then refuse the one for Saturday?

I'm sure if you called Vodafone someone would happily place a new order and offer something (like one month fee??) for messing you around?

Well in the end yesterday i had to place a new order so that it can be delivered tuesday as oppose to saturday. What a silly system! I wish the staff were better informed as i could have simply placed a new order on saturday then had it monday (today) as oppose to being told its coming monday/tuesday untill after finally getting someone who knew what they were doing and telling me next saturday. Im very disappointed and actually think i will refuse both deliveries and go to a three store on thursday when im able to and get one! It has better data plan anyway....Im very unhappy with vodas customer service staff....they were very unhelpful and just inpolite.
Ive sent in a complaint using the form in my pm from dave. Unless they sort it this out to my satisfaction...then i will just move on. One of my contracts is ending in may so only have to give notice next month. ....and be ending the rest as they come....

Well I have being sadly left very disappointed overall with the service here, sadly including this eforum team.

I have received a call from a member of the eforum team after sending my complaint detailing everything. She has being less than helpful herself! A nice lady at 191 had this morning offered 50% discount for the troubles however i have requested a months line rental for free considering all tye miss information and lies from them and vodafone would rather lose me as a customer than honor that. Oh well not a problem as there are other networks. Im due an upgrade now and have being left with no choice but to send in my termination already as they really dont care about their customers. Was very much looking forward to upgrading. Im sure there are great new ipad and iphone 4s offers about somewhere.

Based on this occasion......
I rate voda c/s 0/10 with exception of one lady at 191

What a pain. Vodafone have always tended to be pretty good at resolving my complaints, sometime taken a few calls but always dealt with. I can understand you wanting to leave but be very careful with three, If you think vodas service is bad times itby about 1000 and you get threes pathetic excuse for customer service. Good luck :smileyhappy: (the iPad is great bt the way. Typing away on mine now and considering I thought it was a bit pointless when you have an iPhone I was completely wrong. Works brillaintly and does 99% of what you would ever want a PC for)
