iPad 2 Delivery Timescales - Please Read

The current timescale for delivery is 2-4 weeks. During this time we'll be in touch via email to keep you informed. We'll send emails three and six days after ordering and we'll call on day ten. 

 

We've received feedback on the forum regarding email communications so far compared with the timescale mentioned in the Online Store, which stated two weeks. In reality we hope to deliver all orders placed before 29th March within two weeks, and any on or after that date within 2-4 weeks. We're updating the message in the Online Store to explain this to anyone placing an order from 29th onwards.

Just in case you've ordered and haven't checked your email recently, this message has now been sent to everyone still awaiting a delivery:

 

Thanks for ordering your iPad 2 from Vodafone.
 
Due to the exceptional demand for the device, we’re currently expecting to deliver your new iPad 2 within two weeks of your initial order date.

This applies to orders placed online, over the phone and in store. We realise this means there will be a short wait before you receive your iPad 2 and are working to get your device to you as soon as possible.

For now, you don’t need to do anything else as we’ll email you when your iPad 2 is on its way.

UPDATE

 

We're still seeing exceptional demand for iPad 2. We know it matters for you to receive your orders as soon as possible, and we're doing everything we can to despatch orders as devices become available.
 
As there are six different variants of devices on sale (16GB, 32GB and 64GB in either black or white) you'll likely see some people receive orders before others, as it depends on the device they requested.
 
Thank you for your patience whilst we process orders, and we hope you enjoy your iPad 2 once it arrives.

iPad 2 Stock Updates

To help everyone eagerly awaiting delivery of an iPad 2, or thinking of ordering one, we've opened a Stock Updates section on the forum on a temporary basis.

 

We'll update each thread twice daily, although if the stock situation doesn't change, we won't repost the same message (this would trigger multiple identical alerts for anyone subscribed to the thread).

 

To receive automatic updates as the stock situation changes, make sure you're registered for the eForum and have verified your email address, then pick your device from the list below.
