Ok so on Thursday my iPhone 4S became water damaged from the rain we had, my pockest under my coat became damp and it was enough to damage the iPhone. So i put it in the airing cuboard in some rice for 2 days and it worked! But camera and microphone do not work. I have Vodafone Cover Me Insurance and i phoned them and they accepted the Claim for water damage... They want me to take my iPhone down to local Vodafone store, where they will send it off to be repaired. The Water sensors in headphone jack are Pink. Just wondering will they fix it or just send me a new one, i thought they do not fix water damaged iPhones as they are seen as beyond economical repair?

I think its likely they will end up replacing it, but first it will be sent for assesment, and then if its beyond economical repair, it will be replaced.
