I have an ipad 2 3G that does not seem to pick up a 3G signal - its been replaced once already and I have tried it at various locations - best it gets is Edge (full bars) - I also have an iphone 4s on Voda and as a comparison this picks up 3G no problems.

I am wondering if its a setting at Vodafone end or perhaps a SIM issue. - any help appreciated  - directed here by @vodafone on twitter.

Thanks for your post about not being able to pick up 3G on your iPad.

Tell me; is the same this happening wherever you go? There's not a setting at this end that we can change to be able to provide 3G to your device.

Could you swap the SIM cards around so we can see if the same issue occurs with your SIM in the iPhone, or whether the device is at fault if the issue remains when your iPhone SIM is in your iPad.

Will try a swap over later - it does happen wherever I go yet the iPhone has a decent 3G signal, did wonder if it was a faulty sim. This is a replacement iPad do thinking its not the apple hardware unless 5.01 has killed it.
