I have never received an email saying that the wait is 2-4 weeks, only email I have ever received is

"We are pleased to confirm that your credit check has been successful and we are now preparing your order for delivery. When your order is ready we will contact you by email to confirm the delivery details. "

When I called up the Online Order team to ask when it would be here and why my £50 hadn't been debited yet, I was told , due to unprecedented Orders, the order was likely to take 4-6 weeks, they were expecting a shipment on Monday 4th April, But most of them had already been allocated, hence the wait of 4-6 weeks.

So I guess the people to ask would be the Online Order team .

Looks like you've already had your question answered!

You have definitely been given the offer only open to existing customers, as mentioned the 32GB iPad2 should be £279.00

The current wait time is around 2-4 weeks, as you can imagine demand is high but we're shipping them out as fast as we receive them!

Is the offer open to every vodafone customer on a 24month contract?

I'm on a 24 month contract ( £15 per month) but I only own 1 mobile phone. lol

if not, what is the best deal you could offer me?

The free 16GB iPad 2 deal is only available to existing customers with a current standard monthly commitment of £30 per month or more.

We can still look at a different iPad deal as you're already a customer with Vodafone. I've got an email on it's way to you now, if you can reply to this we'll be in touch with the options as soon as possible.

Hi i have just read all the posts, when i phoned 191 and asked about this deal i was told it didnt exist. Could a mod email me with deals available on my account as i have 3 mobiles and a netbook on my account. I have been charged 249 i think for a 32gb wifi 3g version. I have been with voda for donkeys and feel let down that this deal was kept from me.

My order was placed today and I was told over the phone that delivery would be 3-4 wks, which I was happy enough with. Later on today I recieved an email saying that my ipad  was sent out for delivery to me for tomorrow. Is this a generic email or are they back in stock?

I changed my order from a 16gb to a 32gb today and also got an email this evening to advise it's been dispatched. If you check on 'my account' online, there should be another number showing on your account. I also called the online fulfilment team who advised it was due to be delivered tomorrow.

Out of curiosity, what iPad did you order? 32gb?

I ordered 2. 1 white & 1 black. Both 16gb. Got an email from despatch for the White, but not for the white. Would I have known black was in short supply, would have ordered both white. 

I mentioned about some problmes that the Ipad 2 had and all the mods done was deleate that post, may be vodafone do not want to hightlight that there are some potential problems with the IPAD 2. help  I fought this forum was to help customers with product and network support? The only thing i pasted on here was a youtube video and i do not think that was breaking terms and conditions of the forum.

Like most Apple products there always seems to be some issues. Apple do not seem to improve on their problems. The major problems that some people may encounter is the screens bleeding on the ipad 2, to find out more google it it tells you the potential problems.
