i have an Apple 3gs (white 16gb) that was formally on o2, I had them unlock it for me, but when i insert my vodafone sim card in, the iphpne keeps switching off randomly !
I know its not the phone as the phone is fine with an o2 sim card in it !

Hello Lesoot
If you have had the phone unlocked, it should work with any SIM and the choice of SIM card should not make the phone randomly turn off.
You could try a new Vodafone SIM card in the phone which you can get from a Vodafone store and see if you still get the same fault but if the problem persists, take the phone into an Apple store for help and advise from a genius.

I thought that as well but I have tested the cards and it only does it with the vodafone sim. I will get a new sim from vodafone and see if that works, if not I will see what apple say. thanks for the swift reply !
