hey all

found it!!

Dialing *#*#4636#*#* brings up a troubleshooting/statistics menu page. Dial that and select Phone information and at the bottom you can enter the SMSC (Short Mail Service Center) number.

so any one else knows as well

121? This should be automatic from the SIM card.

Any help?

I haven't had a put a message centre number into any phone I've ever owned, what do you need it for?

As far as I can see, there is nowhere to find/change it, I can only assume it pulls it off the SIM?

Ps. 191 is the Voda customer services number

The message centre number is the routing number for text messages. The Vodafone message centre number is +447785016005, many phones read it from the sim card so you shouldn't have to change it.
