I have been through a few iphone releases with Vodafone and what is very clear is that those that order on day of launch/pre-orders tend to get the worst deal because the systems generally dont cope very well with the quantity of orders received.
So far for this launch i have seen orders with incrorrect delivery estimates (mine included) trackers not working and orders going missing.
People that have ordered once the dust has settled get a smooth and efficient experience, albeit those that are ordering the gold iphone are just out of luck because of the fact apple havent made enough and are struggling to catch up.

i ordered via the phone too. maybe thats the issue, I odered twice, the first time the order didnt go through...the phrase organise beers in a brewery springs to mind....

I ordered my iPhone 5s Gold 16GB @ 8:30am on the 20th and have recieved two emails stating its out of stock and they will be in contact within 5 days. Don't think everyone who ordered morning has got them.

finally got a mail from vodafone that my 64GB is on its way to store though online tracker is still at "2" .. But i can see a new mobile number in my account. Waiting for a call from store..
