Nope, that did not work,
un-installed everything Nokia,
still did not do the F/W update, has installed OVi Maps tho?
Just for your info. You don't need to run PCSuite or Ovi Suite to perform an update.
Just connect the phone, run Nokia Connection Manager from the start menu, tick USB Cable, then start the NSU and perform the update. PCSuite and Ovi Suite will shut down if they're running anyway.
There may be an underlying issue with a file on your actual computer,
Having tried all of the above solutions we seem to have no choice but to attempt a full install of the NSU and PC Suite (for the backup) on another computer, either that or to try creating a new admin profile on your computer:
