I'd love to think there will be but realistically I can't see them bringing out the new iPad with a better deal than they currently advertise the iPad2 with.

However Vodafone Australia released their prices earlier today which are basically a free iPad and £31 per month so cant see why they can't do that in the UK?

Seems even more unlikely they'll keep the free offer considering "three" have announced their prices and even they want £99 in a £29 per month 2 year contract. Can't see Vodafone even bothering to try to under cut them.

My prediction is £129 and £32 a month on a 24 month contract with 2gb of data, I won't be ordering one then! Il buy it from apple on pay as you go! Think the networks are gonna be as greedy as they can be with this iPad as there's a lot of hype around its release

Also seems strange how Vodafone austrailla can have such a good deal and we can't? Well I suppose we have to wait til Vodafone uk release there plans, just disappointed by threes deals and knowing vodafone wont under cut them!

Isn't the current cheap Vodafone deal a special offer only for existing customers with multiple contracts on their accounts? With the iPad 3 pricing virtually identical (and likely similar margins) to the 2 at launch I wouldn't be surprised if Vodafone did a offer something similar. It was only a matter of weeks after launch I got mine on the existing customer deal. As far as retail pricing goes I'd fully expect Vodafone to match or be close to Three's published prices. It's always the same with any new Apple product all networks tend to be priced similarly.

The free deal isn't a multiple customer offer at all. Just do one of the "chat now" things onthe website, they have been offering it on there for at least 6 months to anyone who asks for a iPad deal.

It may well have been available before then but I never asked.

I was considering taking it when I heard about it on here for loyal customers and thought I was being rewarding for having spent so much with Vodafone over the years. Since I realised anyone and everyone can have it I feel a little let down to be honest.

How on earth can Vodafone want an upfront fee on £199 and the £27 a month for 2gb of data wen three offers it for £99 with 15gb of data for the same price?! I know where im going tomorrow! Seriously disappointed this will probably result in me leaving Vodafone when my iPhone come to renewal as well if three are any good :/

Good luck if you have any issues with three, oh and if you want to use them anywhere outside a town.

well i have a friend on three who always has a great service, and gets alot more signal than i do when we are at work, also has managed to pick up signal 'when out of town' when i cant (both iphone 4s) so think i will be fine.

nervous as this will be the first time in 8 years that i will be with another network provider!

Didn't they do that if you've an existing line over £35pm you can get an iPad for £30pm with no upfront cost before? Just wondering if we'll get the same offer this time.

I've got my dongle & phone with Vodafone and pay them around £65pm for both, so it'd just be nice to keep it all synced up in the same bill really without having to pay some huge upfront fee.

Not quite sure how Vodafone can justify these prices - which are significantly higher than Three's. I sincerely hope they'll be doing similar existing customer deals as previously with the iPad 2 (these were available at launch or at the very least just after launch) otherwise I'll likely be off to Three too.

There is an existing customer deal, just spoke to someone and the deal is 16gb iPad on a £32 with £69 upfront! That's with 2gb of data. That suits me!! Delivered tomorrow happy days!!

Or 32gb for £119!
