Hi Paul (Tech Team),

 

Thanks for taking my order for the new iPad this morning. Can you give me a call to clarify something with you? I absolutely still want it but just want to check that my amended order (32GB instead of 16GB) had gone through successfully and will arrive on Monday morning. 

 

I tried calling the tech team back but could only get through to your contact centre in Belfast. I understand they are extremely busy this morning and this can lead to confusion as a very friendly woman amneded my original order but changed it to 64GB instead of 32GB. I only noticed because I called back as I hadn't received a text or email confirming my order. 

 

I'd really appreciate any call that reassures me that the order is ok (32GB, Black iPad 3) and will arrive on Monday, which is the day I need it for as I start some medical treatment that day and will be housebound for a long period of time, so having the new iPad on Monday will be something positive to focus on.

First question - has anyone had a callback from the eforums guys yet?

 

Second question is for anyone who has had a callback - are they doing a better existing customer deal than the one freely available over the phone with the online store (eg. £119 for a 32GB, £219 for 64GB etc.)

Haven't received any PMs.

 

I did actuall order over the phone this morning with the standard online store. Just wondered whether you eForums folk were offering a better deal than the £119 for the 32Gb.

 

On another note, I was supposed to have been on the list of people expecting a callback when it was available to order, and that never happened so obviously something must have slipped through the net there...

I responded to the private message on wednesday & I have not recieved a call from anyone, but today I recieved a standard email from someone from customer service saying to contact the sales team what really like is a call to see if I can get any deals regarding the new "Ipad 3"? on a new connection & also my "Phone Contract" is about to finish in "33 days.
