It's very strange that 97886 isn't working for you as we got loads of people in the office to test it on their phones and it worked every time so I'm not sure why it didn't work for you.

Hey, I have been looking everywear and through every document but can not find my account number, i tried texting ACCOUNT to 97886 but received a reply stating "not eligible to upgrade" how els can i get my account number? i have tried calling 191 but office not open until tomorow morning.

The best way to get the number is to call 191 and just ask them for the billing account number they will be able to give you this once you pass data protection with them and its as easy as that.

Hi, trying to pay my bill online but it is saying that I need an account number to access all of the online services. I have tried to send a text to get my account number but as my phone is barred, i tried to call, im barred, how am i ment to pay my bill?. Can you help? Thanks.

You can get your account number by sending a text to 97886 with the word "ACCOUNT" followed by your postcode..
If this does not work your quickest option would be to give Customer Care a call on 191 from your phone.. After a few security questions they will be able to give you your account number and also set up a PIN number for you
