I have a 9700 and has been working great but i plugged it in to my laptop couple of weeks again and it said there was an update, so completed this up date no worries but then i found i wasnt getting any or my emails coming through to my phone,
So i delete my email from my phone and reset it and it worked for one day and now wont get any incoming emails coming through
I looked all over and not coming up with a way to solve this so any ideas ???

it maybe worth doing a battery pull, (remove battery while the phone is on) sometimes the handset gets locked up
it may also be worth going here https://bis.eu.blackberry.com/html?brand=vodauk login and resend your service books.
if your sending but not receiving i dont think its a data issue...

ok lets try this.... we are going to check that the device is registered to the network, delete the service book from the device for that email address check the details are correct for the email account and resend the service book.....
options > device > Advanced system settings (at the very bottom) > host routing table press blackberry key and select register now.
options > device > Advanced system settings (at the very bottom) > service book and find the email address that is having issues it may be listed more than once... delete all entries for the email address.... once this is done and you have returned to the home screen i would do a battery pull and move on to the next stage
Go back to the step outlined in the above post (BIS email set up) check the details that are entered for that account are correct and then resend the service book....

Thank you for your reply, i never did the above again but on friday night my phone went nuts at around 3am and i have 117 emails come through all at once and seems to be going fine now and emails coming and going good.
so much have been a blip in the system thats now caught up with its self
