not sure if this is a vodafone or Blackberry related problem. I've had a BB bold for the past 2 months and everything has been working fine. Good network coverage everywhere.
However, this week I am unable to get any signal in my office (postcode SE11) - although I don't use my BB for work I do need to be available on it for personal reasons.
No one else in the office is having problems with vodafone signal - if I switch it on and off, I get a very brief moment of signal before the SOS appears again.
I am not having the problem anywhere else to date.

This can either be a network coverage issue or a problem with the device itself, i.e sim card or similar.
The first thing to do would be to study the serving sites, please supply the full post code. Additionally, as your friends are not having issues in the same location it may actually be a device issue, it's worth a check either way.

I am having the same problem it seems to lose the 3G signal but wont switch to 2G automatically. I asked in a Vodafone shop and they gave me a new sim card in case that was the problem but it hasn't made any difference. I have tried all the battery pulls and the phone is up to date with all its software and firmware.
I may have to pay and upgrade early because I rely on my phone for work
