When, using my handset and I use either the Social Feeds or Facebook applications, I am being told by my friends that my postings are not coming up on their mobile devices in 'News Feeds'. This has caused some concern because this has been going on for some 14 days and some of my friends think I'm not networking with them.

However, when either I go on to my PC and access Facebook my postings are on there (and this applies when they do the same too). Also, when they are using their mobile devices, the only way the can see something 'Live' when posted by me, is if they go in to my profile and interogate that way.

I have a latest model; the latest OS7 & the latest updated 'Social Feed' & 'Facebook' applications.

Does anyone know of a solution to this? I have Twitted BlackBerry and they suggest the problem may lay with Vodafone and that Vodafone should contact BlackBerry support.

Thanks for your post here.

I’m not sure why BlackBerry have directed you to us with this I’m afraid. Facebook is a 3^rd party application and as such any problems or queries with this application will need to be raised to them.

With regards to your issue, your posts are reaching Facebook but it’s only when your friends are viewing them on their handsets that they are unable to see them?

This to me sounds like your phone is doing its job correctly and that it’s the Facebook application on your friends phone that is causing the issue.

Please can you clarify if it sounds like I have got the wrong end of the stick?

Hello Wayne and thank you for you quick response and advice. Kindly note, I Tweeted BlackBerry about it too and here is their reply...
"At this point it would be recommended you contact your mobile network provider and ask this issue be transferred to RIM to investigate. ^BBS"

I know it's not every handset that is not seeing my Facebook 'News Feeds'n as I have made some enquries myself, but I do know that on my iTouch I cannot see any recent news feeds from myself these last 3 weeks or so (I have to profile myself to see what I posted).

I understand that being a 3rd party application is not your business, but it is rather odd that one minute all my friends could read my postings to Facebook and now they can't. I have asked whether they have altered their privacy settings with regard to me and they all say they haven't (I haven't either on my iTouch or on Facebook's website).

Perhaps a new update is due soon and perhaps this will rememdy it, but I hope what I've provided from RIM helps you?

Hello and good morning. It would appear all seems fine now and my 'Social Feeds' & 'Facebook' applications are appearing on all mobile handsets under 'News Feeds'.
