BlackBerry Messenger Data Usage

Hi,

I'm bb user for a few days and i cant find how many data i used. I have 900m, un text, 750mb data in my price plan, i just added BIS for 5£

At online account something stop working and stop displaying balance. When i checked unbilled usage is show BLACKBERRY but only time when i downloaded some apps about 13mb. Is not showing any WAP or BBM usage.  I installed in my BB some data monitor app and is show that I used yesterday and today about 25mb for BBM and facebook but i'm not sure is it working propely.

It's look like using BBM and facebook is not affecting my monthly allowance. am i right? or maybe is problem in system only?

I called 44555 and get txt back showing that i used about 123mb this month so it also not showing BBM and facebook because in friday i had 110mb used

Re: BlackBerry Messenger Data Usage

BLACKBERRY is showing up instead of WAP - Just like it does on itemised bills too.

BBM will not show up either.

If you changed your price plan after the original set up it is quite normal for customer service to have to change the whole price plan to include BIS unless they just added the SOC code for BIS.

pretty much if your current price plan was YPL 900 mins Unl Txt 750mb then the change would have turned into the same only with BB added at the start or end.

BBM, Facebook, msn, other ims - Anything that transmits data will come off your monthly allowance but all the data is compressed which takes even longer to reach 750mb

just stay away from video streaming etc as that is where vodafone will make money bc it eats your allowance lol

Re: BlackBerry Messenger Data Usage

Here is quick  look at latest few days, like u see is show only when i downloaded large amounts of data ( i downloaded apps to my BB) Is also show WAP in Friday because i switch on BIS after that.

Must be some problem with online billing coz exporting to csv is not working and not showing actual usage of minutes and messages

in my account.

Re: BlackBerry Messenger Data Usage

Hi nemec

Thanks for your post here. I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble working out how much data you have used.

BlackBerry, WAP and BBM will all come out of your data pack. So that we can look at your account I’m going to send you an email over to the email address that you registered with. All you need to do is reply back with all the information it asks for and we can confirm exactly how much data you have used up to this point.

Thanks

Wayne
